Day one - Fly Arusha / Mahale:

7:30 AM - Pick up from a hotel in Arusha

Transfer to Arusha airstrip for departure by shared charter to Mahale Mountains

Pick up by camp vehicle on arrival. Transfer to the camp for lunch

Afterwards proceed for Chimpanzee tracking in the forest

Observing the chimpanzees in their natural habitat, one cannot help but be touched by their natural grace and anthropomorphic features. Although remote, a chimpanzee safari to Mahale

Dinner and overnight at GREYSTOKE MAHALE LUXURY CAMP

Day two - Mahale Mountains:

7:00 AM - Breakfast

8:00 AM - Chimpanzee tracking in the forest

The hikes takes you to the chimps habitation areas are accessible and not strenuous, although being in good physical condition will ease the strain of walking through the jungle! Up close, observing the endangered primates is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Day three - Mahale Mountains:

7:00 AM - Breakfast

8:00 AM - Chimpanzee tracking in the forest

Chimp tracking, forest walks, birding, boat trips, snorkeling, fishing and kayaks

Day four - Departure:

7:00 AM - After breakfast drive back to Dar es Salaam

8:00 AM - Transfer to Mahale airstrip for departure by shared charter flight to Kilimanjaro or Dar es Salaam. Met for assistance to connect onward International flight.
