Maasai Villagers
If you look out onto the landscape of the Serengeti you will see the billowing grasses blowing in the wind. At the horizon a flash of red is easily discerned as a shuka-clad Maasai Warrior striding swiftly and purposefully across the unending plain. These prestigious and daunting warriors are often seen hunting, farming, and making the beautiful jewelry they are well known for. You too can encounter the Maasai Warriors and Maasai people in a visit to a traditional Maasai village, with visits to Maasai bomas (mud and straw huts), in addition to taking part in some amazing Maasai traditions and rituals.

Village and Town Visits
Unexpected discoveries and local perspectives.
How do everyday Tanzanians shop, socialize, work and live?
We will plan part of the visit, but you improvise the rest. Choose from the following activities or others that might arise: attending special events, visiting a local school or health clinic, having tea or a meal with a Tanzanian family, visiting a local development project, or visiting the local market.

Or learn African drumming & dancing, batik-making, wood-carving or weaving.
More memories guaranteed.
